Our Story and Who We Are

Flourish is a local, community-based educational provider that aims to serve the educational needs of the migrant and refugee community in Canterbury by offering tailored programmes that are culturally appropriate and need specific.

Flourish delivers programmes to individuals from a wide age range within the target community, serving community members from 5 to senior years of age.

Our aim is to faciliate the development of community members into effective citizen in their chosen new home land of New Zealand while helping them maintain their cultural identity.

Our team of teachers and educational providers have decades of combined experience in the field of teaching and learning and pride themselves in working closely with our community to develop solutions that are fit-for-purpose, culturally appropriate and effective.

We work with government agencies to build bridges between policy makers and community needs and aspirations and in doing so we aim to be a hub of community interactions, conversation and learning adopting an environment of continuous development and connecting community members to opportunities and linking them to one another and as such helping them reach their potential.
